A GOVERNMENT minister is under investigation following complaints of unfair treatment of Bangladeshi workers.
The unnamed minister is accused of bringing workers from Bangladesh to work for him under questionable conditions.
Employment Minister Agni Deo Singh confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.
“We have received the complaint, and our ministry is looking into it,” he said.
Mr Singh said the Labour Director was handling the matter and that the case is being taken seriously.
“The investigation is underway.”
No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
