Two men are in police custody while officers continue searching for two other suspects allegedly involved in a serious assault and property damage case in Wailoku last night.
Fiji Police Force said officers from the Southern Division Quick Response Team, Samabula Police and the Joint Taskforce were deployed following reports of the incident and pursued information regarding the whereabouts of the group.
Police later carried out a raid at a home along Waimanu Road in Suva where two of the four suspects were arrested.
The victim remains admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital receiving treatment.
Police said the search for the remaining two suspects is continuing.
Authorities have also confirmed that the circumstances and motive surrounding the alleged attack remain under investigation.
