TV stations ink deal to air 2014 FIFA World Cup

Update: 2:00PM ALL 64 matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup will be shown live on Sky Pacific.

This is after, Fiji TV and Mai TV today signed a commercial agreement to air the world event.

Mai TV bought the initial rights to air the world cup, however, with limitation to its viewers across the country, Fiji TV has agreed to assist.

Marc Santos, the general manager for Mai TV said the whole of Fiji could watch the world cup with the assistance from Fiji TV through Sky Pacific.

The world cup which starts on June 13 will be on air on Sky Pacifics Premium Channel at a $50 subscription.

The Premium Channel will air Mai TVs programs starting on June 12 until after the world cup.
