JP BAYLY Trust, established by the late John Percy Bayly in 1954, celebrated its 70th anniversary at the Civic Centre in Labasa.

It was created to reach the poor and needy people through welfare rations, education and health care of beneficiaries registered in its books.

Bayly Welfare Suva at present is looking after the needs of 1300 families through monthly rations and puts 360 students through the education system each year.

Its Suva clinic also has three doctors and a dentist with nine professional support staff located on-site to care for the medical needs of needy families.
