THREE men have been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery in Cunningham, Suva, on Friday morning, with police investigating possible links to other robberies in the area.
The incident, captured on CCTV, prompted investigations by officers at Valelevu Police Station in Nasinu, leading to the arrest of a main suspect and two alleged accomplices.
“The suspect alleged to be involved in a robbery case in Cunningham on Friday morning has been arrested by Valelevu police.
“Investigations into the initial report of robbery led to information on the involvement of two others, who have also been arrested,” police said in a statement.
Police said the three suspects are also allegedly linked to other robbery cases in the area.
The trio remain in custody at Valelevu Police Station as investigations continue.
