JET Travel and Tours Pte Limited is set to expand its presence in the Western Division with an investment of $20,000 for a new branch to be based in Nadi, which will be officially opened today.
Headquartered at Mark Street in Suva, Jet Travel is a fully certified travel agency by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and has been offering their service for the past 17 years.
Speaking to this newspaper in an interview, proprietor Satnam Singh said they were expanding because of the high number of requests made by their customers located in the Western Division.
“When I registered my company, I started at home in 2006. And then in 2008, I was able to get this office (Mark Street),” Mr Singh said.”
Now it has been 17 years since we opened, today we are branching to the west to boost our service providing and market reach,” he said.
Mr Singh said they were also expanding to Nadi because of its tourism hotspot.
“Moving our business there would be a boost for us considering that we are a travel agency.
“There is nothing different, it is the same service we offer here (Suva office) we will be offering it as well in our Nadi Branch.
“So, people don’t have to worry about the difference in the services provided,” he said.
He said the Nadi branch is expected to cater for those travelling domestic to international travel and vice versa.
“We are a travel agency certified by IATA and we provide services regarding travel in general.
“This includes services from visa and flight reservation for tourism and corporate to accommodation and transport bookings, both domestic and international.”
He further said customers in the West can now direct any queries to their branch in Nadi for any assistance or service regarding their travels.
Jet Travel Nadi is located at shop 28, level 1 My FNPF center, Koroivolu Ave in Nadi and is scheduled to be in full operation after today’s opening.
