The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua signed a new two-year partnership with one of Fiji’s leading inbound tour operators – Tewaka yesterday.
The deal would see Tewaka become the official transport supplier of the Fijian Drua, transferring the club to its matches and other engagements in the country.
Fijian Drua head of commercial and marketing Shane Hussein in a statement welcomed Tewaka to their sponsor vuvale and hailed their support of the club
“To have Tewaka continue their support of the Drua is absolutely fantastic,” said Hussein.
He said the team loved being transported by the fantastic team at Tewaka to matches and official engagements in Fiji.
“They have been with the Drua since the beginning, and their service, quality and attention to detail is second to none.
“Tewaka is a significant player in the tourism industry, just like the Fijian Drua and together, we will continue to drive further tourism and hospitality products in the market.”
Hussein added they would also look forward to enhancing the Tewaka brand even further through our content channels.
Tewaka’s managing director James Sowane said they have been very fortunate to be with Drua from the very beginning.
“We believe in the vision and we know that the boys will only get better and we want to be part of the journey.
“Transporting them through to the journey, that’s our role,” Sowane said.
Tewaka would also continue to play a leading role in the Fijian Drua’s hospitality programme called ‘the Drua Experience’, which is fast becoming popular with corporate clients and tourists alike.
