The McDonald’s Fiji Fijian Drua Women will celebrate another memorable Super Rugby Women’s campaign when the club hosts its annual awards ceremony at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa tonight.
Six major awards will be presented during the evening, honouring excellence both on and off the field.
The awards include Rookie of the Year, Community Champion, Players’ Player of the Year, Fan Player of the Year, Try of the Year, and the prestigious Player of the Year award.
The Rookie of the Year accolade will recognise the season’s most impressive newcomer.
The Community Champion award will honour the player who has made the greatest impact through community engagement and inspiring the next generation of rugby players.
The Players’ Player of the Year, voted by teammates, is expected to be one of the night’s most coveted honours, reflecting the respect earned within the squad. Fans will also have their say through the Fan Player of the Year award, celebrating the player who captured the hearts of Drua supporters throughout the season.
The spectacular Try of the Year award will recognise the team’s best five-pointer of the campaign, while the evening will conclude with the announcement of the McDonald’s Fiji Fijian Drua Women’s Player of the Year, recognising the standout performer across the entire season.
The awards night recognises the outstanding performances and contributions that shaped the Drua Women’s impressive 2026 season, which culminated in a second consecutive appearance in the Super Rugby Women’s grand final.
