THE Mate Mae Tonga upset of the Australian Kangaroos last weekend will be fuel for the Tonga men’s 7s team as they prepared for the Oceania Rugby Sevens Championship at Albert Park in Suva today.
“That was a big win for all of Tonga,” said team manager Seluini Iloa.
“And we look forward to putting the same spirit into this weekend’s tournament.”
The team arrived in the country on Monday night and began training in Suva yesterday.
Tonga is in pool C with Australia, Nauru, American Samoa and Vanuatu.
