SOFTWARE Factory Ltd, a fully locally owned and operated software development company owned by iTaukei businessman Semi Tukana, has been chosen to develop and implement a dedicated loan management system for the iTaukei Land Trust Board’s Taukei Development Fund Facility (TDFF).
TLTB announced yesterday the partnership was part of its new business direction to strengthen the delivery and management of its TDFF, given that more than 60 iTaukei individuals and landowning units were already part of the TDFF loan portfolio.
“We believe it is only proper to get a purpose-built platform in place that allows us to efficiently manage the entire lifecycle of these loans and provide better support to our landowners,” TLTB chief executive officer Solomone Nata said, adding it was now critical to establish a reliable and modern system to manage loan disbursements, track repayments and monitor borrower performance.
Software Factory chief executive officer Semi Tukana said the contract includes the following deliverables:
· Full loan lifecycle management (from application to closure)
· Unlimited user licenses with mobile accessibility
· On-site hosting and cloud integration
· Training for TLTB staff (including IT, Finance, Trust, and TDF teams)
· 30-day post-implementation support
· Compliance with Reserve Bank of Fiji standards and ISO27001 information security protocols.
“We’re proud to support TLTB and contribute to this visionary step in empowering iTaukei landowners,” Mr Tukana said.
“This modern solution is designed to boost efficiency and financial transparency while helping landowners thrive in the areas of commerce and investment.”
The new credit facility and its loan management system known as LoanWorksNGX, is scheduled for launch next month, according to TLTB. Software Factory offers a suite of software solutions developed inhouse by its team of homegrown Fijian software developers and has clients across Fiji and the Pacific.
