M&Ms are one of the world’s most iconic confectionary brands, instantly recognizable by their colourful candy shells and irresistible chocolate centers. A product of Mars Wrigley Confectionary (MWC), M&M’s have been delighting the world since the 1940s.
Over the decades they have become a simple yet global phenomenon, available in countless flavours, varieties, and seasonal editions. Their popularity doesn’t just lie in its taste but also in their playful branding.
M&M’s holds a strong cultural presence. The iconic mascots which represent the seven flavours, all of which have their own unique personality, are created by Mars Wrigley Confectionary.
While M&M’s is enjoyed alone, it can also be used as an ingredient in your food. Their combination of crunch and chocolate makes it ideal for baking, and they can be easily incorporated into your baking creation.
Brownie cookie dough Recipe:
¾ all-purpose flour,
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder,
½ tsp baking soda,1/8 tsp salt,1/3 cup softened unsalted butter, 1/3 cup granulated sugar,1 egg,
½ tsp vanilla extract.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt
In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat egg white and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture until just incorporated. Cover and chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda & salt.
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in flour mixture until just incorporated. Stir in half the M&M’s peanut minis. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit:
Divide brownie cooking dough into 16 portions and roll into balls. Press together one brownie dough ball and one M&M’s cookie dough ball to form bigger dough ball. Transfer to baking paper and press to flatten.
Sprinkle remaining M&M’s Peanut Minis over the cookies.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges, and tops are set. Let it cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely
