Negative remarks against her dad on social media was the last straw for Sainiana  Radrodro as tears streamed down her cheeks, hurt to have read issues about an innocent man whom she calls ‘Daddy ’.

This was last week’s posting, on Facebook that forced her to work from home as she was too distraught to face another  obstacle.

While she has congratulated and happy for her husband’s new appointment, she knows life will be tougher and demanding as she needs to juggle between work as a lawyer, a mother and wife of party leader.

Like any other person who would have faced similar situation,  Mrs Radrodro could not hold back her tears as she shared the many obstacles and challenges she’s faced in the political front.

The toughness of life has drawn her closer to God and there have been nights when she cries herself to sleep, alone, yet believing that God has never forsaken her.

But even worse is knowing that her children have been affected as well.

“They are my inspiration and everytime they see negative posts about me on social media, they cry, they ask me about it and while I’m affected and hurt, I need to be strong to comfort and encourage them,” she said.

“I joined a prayer group because I knew God was my only way out of this misery and I have also been praying with wives of those who blamed me for allegations that resulted in my court case,” Mrs Radrodro said.

“I’ve chosen to forgive their husbands because only then will God make me whole again. “It’s not easy but I have chosen to forgive them because God will then release me from any bondage.”

On the post about her dad, Mrs Radrodro said this was the most hurtful unbearable pain she’s faced.

“Someone had sent me this post about my father and I just can’t believe  how low  people can go in attacking innocent family members,” she said.

“My life has not been easy eversince we entered the political arena and a lot has been posted about me but I have chosen to forgive those who have and continue to attack me, my husband and family.

“I had to forgive those who have hurt myself and family because I was getting sick and it took a toll on my health.  I lost a lot of weight with all that I have gone through and every time I read those negative comments on social media, my children’s faces just show up and all I do is cry.”

As for her current role, being wife of SODELPA leader Aseri Radrodro, she has vowed her support.

With the recent political development of her husband being stood down as Education Minister and allegations of another cabinet minister, Mrs Radrodro knows she has to be stronger now.

“I see this as more load and as any wife or husband in politics, you will always be reserved because you are drawn in by extension of position they hold and  its’ not the easiest place to be.

“We’ve been at the front at the brunt of social media and I have learnt to cry some days, learn to breathe and for me personally, it’ll be God to depend on.”
