DUBBED as the “Rassian Bullet,” Nawairuku 7s team winger Luke Vuli helped his team from the interior of Ra reach the plate semi-finals with his blistering speed that caught the attention of the fans at the Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa Burenitu 7s tournament.

The 21-year-old of Nawairuku Village is related to former Fiji 7s team speedster Sireli Bobo.

Vuli has never played in big tournaments, however, his speed and strength on the wing could make him a future star in the local sevens circuit.

“My dream is to represent Fiji one day in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series,” he said.

“I want to learn. Playing against big teams in the Burenitu 7s has really taught me a lot and I hope to play in big tournaments in the future to be given a chance to be in the squad. I will do my best to do my country proud.”
