With our ever increasing statistics on non communicable diseases, people living in Fiji’s Capital City, Suva need to reduce certain types of emissions to reduce mortality rates.
As a concerned Suva resident, we Suva-siders should be up in arms against every form of air pollution, not only that of fossil fuel emissions.
Climate change has brought us weird weather patterns that could seriously affect people with heart problems, asthma etc.
We do not need to aggravate matters by poisoning the air we breathe through fossil fuel emissions etc.
Please stakeholders, let us all wake up.
If not, soon we will not be singing the song “all I need is the air that I breathe and to love you”.
