Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL) has officially signed on as the Platinum sponsor for the 2025 Top Executive Conference (TOPEX).

Telecom Fiji chief executive officer Charles Goundar and TOPEX 2025 chairperson Rowena Taito signed the instrument of sponsorship at the Telecom Fiji headquarters in Suva yesterday.

“We’d like to sincerely thank Telecom for sponsoring TOPEX for close to 10 years, and in the last couple of years as a gold sponsor, and this year seeing the value to step up to the Platinum sponsor and the major sponsor for TOPEX,” Ms Taito said.

“We wouldn’t have been able to have the platforms that we have for leaders to come together, for visionaries to showcase what the future will hold and to inspire our business leaders for the future but also for the betterment of business in Fiji.

“The work that Telecom does in terms of connecting the digital transformation and having an inclusive connectivity for Fiji, empowering not just businesses but communities like the work you’ve just done in the North with Savusavu, what that does is it empowers communities to be connected, gives them access to education, access to business.

“That’s all really amazing, so thank you for trusting us once again and for coming on this journey with us as we continue to grow TOPEX and FCEF membership.”

Mr Goundar acknowledged the opportunity to partner with TOPEX and the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF) for a long time.

“We feel this platform is so important in getting together all the executives of Fiji and discussing key issues that affects all organisations and how those issues can be addressed,” Mr Goundar said.

“There’s so much learnings, there’s so much insights that’s shared at the TOPEX event that is so many and relevant to everyone.

“We look forward to a great TOPEX again this year where I guess more exciting topics will be discussed that’s shaping the corporate landscape and will have a profound impact in terms of how organisations develop their digital transformation journeys,” he said.

Ms Taito, also the FCEF vice president, told this newspaper that preparations were already underway for TOPEX 2025, and more announcements for corporate sponsorship would be announced in due course.

TOPEX 2025 will bring together senior executives, business leaders, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the country for high-level discussions on leadership and innovation and economic development.
