ALL teachers who have not yet uploaded their new, signed e-contracts onto the Fijian Education Management Information System (FEMIS) platform have been urged to immediately upload their contract.
A statement by the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts says this is to avoid any disruption in their pay for the start of Term 1.
According to the Ministry FEMIS platform can be utilised anywhere in the world from the ease of a mobile phone, so any teachers travelling for the holiday season can take advantage of this improved process.
Any questions can be directed to the Ministry by dialing 9904513, and officials will be staffing this helpline from the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm throughout the weekend and from 8.00am to 5.00pm during weekdays.
