A taxi driver was allegedly involved in a serious accident this afternoon in Velovelo, Lautoka.
According to eye witnesses, the driver was allegedly intoxicated before the taxi he was driving veered off the Queens Highway and landed in a ditch.
The driver has been taken to the FEMAT Field Hospital in Nadovu.
