Holy Cross College from Taveuni has secured a spot in the quarter finals of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Competition.
The under 15 Holy Cross College rugby team had defeated Lelean Memorial High School 16-15 playoffs this morning.
While Labasa Sangam College was defeated by Gospel High School 27-5 in the second play off the under 15.
However, Lelean Memorial School thrashed Holy Cross College 46-8 in the under 16 category.
The match showcased the school’s formidable offense and solid defense, leaving Holy Cross College unable to keep pace throughout the game.
The playoff is underway at Subrail Park in Labasa.
