LABELLED as one of Australia’s hottest young reggae artiste, “Swiss” who is quite popular in the Pacific music scene is the main act at the New Year’s Eve “White Party” in Suva.

Organised by Onyx Entertainment, which runs two popular Suva nightspots, the concert will feature an hour of the Australian national’s best hits.

Best known for his remake of classics, the singer shot to fame in 2012 when he released blues classic “Blue Bayou” in a reggae and RnB version on Youtube.

At the time, he recorded under Dawn Raid Music, the same label as Aradhna, Savage and Adeaze.

“I have performed all over the Pacific, the US, New Zealand and all over Australia but this is my first time in Fiji,” said “Swiss” whose real name is Pepa Manu.

A follower of famed Fijian singer George Fiji Veikoso, Manu’s aim is to use his music to influence Pacific youth positively.

The party starts at 8pm at Onyx Platinum in Suva. Swiss takes the stage at 11pm.

Sean Chow of Onyx Entertainment said the ticket sales was good.
