A tough battle is expected at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka this weekend as Suva challenges Nadroga in the INKK Mobile Farebrother Trophy.

The Stallions, which successfully defended the trophy against Naitasiri last weekend, will be hosting the Capital Cityside. Suva head coach Solomone Nute said the side would be working on its set pieces.

“We will be focusing on our set pieces throughout this week and our ball handling as well,” he said.

“Since most of the boys have been taking part in the Suva Rugby FMF Koroturaga and Escort Shield competitions, they have been training weekly with their different clubs.”

Nute said they were aware of Nadroga’s attacking prowess and would need to maintain composure throughout the entire 80 minutes if they hoped to secure a win.

“Composure is an important factor as well. We will need to control the pace of the game and make smart decisions on the field.

“Nadroga is a champion team, and they are very fit so we need to be vigilant on the field at all times.”

He said playing on the Stallions’ home ground would be a huge challenge for his side.

“We know that the grounds will be full of Nadroga fans, so we will need to enter this game with a strong mindset and mentality.

“We are also inviting all our Suva fans to come out in numbers to support the boys as they challenge Nadroga.”
