Stratum Construction Suva FC are holding their cards close this week as they prepare to face Ajay Trading Rewa FC in the second semi-final of the 2025 BiC Fiji FACT this Saturday.

This is the word from team official Mohammed Erffan after they won 5-0 in their final pool match against Bula Rentals & Tours Nadi FC on Sunday.

“At the moment, I can’t comment on anything what, how or what you’re going to do because we have a week of preparation and then we’ll head back to camp and then we’ll decide the way forward for the semi-finals,” Errfan told the media.

In that final Group B game against Nadi, Suva’s first goal was made by Joe Moses in the first half during injury time.

The four goals set after the breather, were placed in a short span of time.

In the 67th minute, goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva added another point to Suva’s side of the scoreboard which secured their semi-final spot and as leaders of Group B.

In the 70th minute, Suva’s Ramzan Khan kicked the ball past Nadi’s defence and their goalkeeper Joela Biuvanua could only scramble for the ball as it rolled into the net.

Moses shot another goal to add onto the winning tally as points stood at 4-0.

As injury time rolled in, it was Waisake Navunigasau Junior who cemented the victory with the final goal of the match.

Errfan said their win came down to taking each game at a time.

“Like we always say that we take every game, each at a time and where’s there a will, there’s a way,” Erffan said.

“Anything can happen in the game of football but definitely we’ll go back and then we’ll come back and give a good shot against Rewa too as well.”

Meanwhile, Suva will meet Rewa at 4.30pm this Saturday in the second semi-final at the HFC Bank Stadium.
