SOCIAL media is a joke, says Lands and Mineral Resources Minister Ashneel Sudhakar.
He made the comment during an interview with this newspaper in Rakiraki on Friday.
Mr Sudhakar was asked about recent social media posts which alleged he was under investigation by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.
“Facebook, any Tom, Dick and Harry can sit at a computer and write anything. If they had evidence they should have said it,” he said.
Mr Sudhakar said by making one sentence allegation “makes no sense”.
“My only advice to these guys is if they want to write something, they can write very nicely — this is the case, these are the facts, this is the particular person who tried to bribe somebody and these are the facts.”
He said people should make credible posts.
“Put some meat in it.”
