A 16-year-old student faces sexual-related charges for offences he allegedly committed on a young girl in Ba in June, 2020.
Police said the alleged incident occurred when the teenager was 13-years-old and the victim three-years-old.
“The victim was playing with other children when the accused asked the her to go to his house, where he is alleged to have sexually assaulted her and forced her to perform sexual acts,” police said.
“The matter was reported by the child’s parent.”
The teenager has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of rape.
He will be produced at the Ba Magistrates Court today.
