Former Nadroga and Fiji Rugby Union coaching director Franck Boivert believes Nadroga will need to work on their defence and attacking game if they want to beat defending Skipper Cup champion Suva tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Boivert emphasised the importance of bolstering Nadroga’s defensive capabilities and enhancing their attacking strategy.

“Nadroga has to keep working on its defence,” Boivert said stressing the need to fortify the team’s defensive line to withstand Suva’s offensive prowess.

“When you have a strong point, you have to keep working on it,” he added.

Boivert also expressed concern about Nadroga’s attacking approach.

“I’m afraid Nadroga does not attack the advantage line quick enough,” Boivert added.

This observation gives the urgency for Nadroga to sharpen their offensive tactics and capitalise on opportunities to penetrate Suva’s defences effectively.

As both teams gear up for what promises to be a fiercely contested match, Nadroga’s preparation in these key areas will be pivotal.

Last week Nadroga defeated Naitasiri 21-17 in a nail-biting encounter in the second semi-final. The match was a tense battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats, with both teams displaying fierce determination to claim victory. At halftime, the score was deadlocked at 12-all, setting the stage for an intense and closely contested second half.

With Boivert’s advice in mind, Nadroga is preparing to face Suva in what promises to be an intense match. They’re focused on improving their defence and attacking strategy to compete effectively against the defending champions.
