PARRAMATTA Eels Rugby League Club star Maika Sivo was yesterday allowed to travel to Sydney, Australia, by the Nadi Magistrates Court.
Appearing before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama, Sivo was handed back his passport with conditions.
In his final ruling, Mr Dalituicama said the 26-year-old was allowed to travel back to Sydney on the condition that he surrendered his passport once he touched down in Australia.
Mr Dalituicama explained that it was unjust to keep Sivo from his employment with the club.
A bail bond of $2500 was paid in cash to the court while two sureties were provided by Sivo.
The case has been adjourned to February 17.
