Junior Binnu Singh won the Fiji flyweight boxing title after defeating Rahul Aaron Singh during the Bula Boxing Promotions program at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday night.

Junior Binnu won on a unanimous decision.

The judges’scorecards read 99-91 from Lecava Fotu, 100-90 by Aminiasi Finau and 100-90 from Fatu Tuimanono.

This was Junior Binnu’s sixth win in professional boxing. The 21-year-old from Bilalevu, Navosa, remains unbeaten since turning professional in 2019.

Jnr Binnu said the fight went as planned.

“The game plan was to go through the 10 rounds,” he said.

“I want more fights in the country and slowly move into the international scene.”
