The Fiji Valuers Registration Board has appointed Bhawana Singh as the new board secretary and Registrar of Valuers.
The appointment was endorsed by Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo.
In a statement, the Ministry said Ms Singh brought with her a wealth of experience in valuation practice, policy and regulation.
“Her leadership will be key in advancing the board’s mission to uphold professional standards and support valuers across Fiji,” it stated.
In her new role, Ms Singh will oversee: registration of valuers; enforcement of ethical standards and disciplinary procedures; strategic support and governance for the board; and engagement with industry stakeholders and aspiring professionals.
The Fiji Valuers Registration Board stated it remained committed to ensuring professionalism, integrity and growth within the valuation sector in the country.
