Siblings launch catering business in Suva

Catering business  The Four Sweets was launched at the Wesley Church in  Butt Street, Suva, today.

Owner Talei Whippy, 27, said plans to start the business was initiated by her two sisters and a cousin three weeks ago.

“We decided to bring together our expertise and start our own business,” Ms Whippy said.

“One of my sisters has a passion for baking and the other is good in marketing. Our cousin Emily Boteanakadavu is a good cook, so that will benefit our small business,” she added.

The four young women operate their business from home.

Their products include the Katalau Box that consist local breakfast pastries like the popular babakau (pancake), scones, even bila; and there is the Sweet Tooth Box that has cupcakes, lamington, and the likes.
