COMMUNICATIONS Fiji Ltd (CFL) has announced the success of the Fiji Showcase 2025, which it said attracted record crowd, surpassing last year’s numbers and just short of its target of 100,000.

“Fiji Showcase 2025 attracted a record 97,265 visitors, surpassing last year’s total of 95,235,” CFL revealed in a statement filed at the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX) where it is listed.

“While our target was to reach 100,000 attendees this year, adverse weather conditions impacted final numbers, with the shortfall limited to just 2735.”

CFL general manager Charles Taylor said the numbers of exhibitors that took part in the event also exceeded all previous years.

Held over nine days at the Vodafone Arena, the event featured over 120 exhibitor booths, live entertainment across indoor and outdoor stages, amusement rides, and a dedicated food court.

As CFL’s flagship annual event, the Fiji Showcase has consistently been a key contributor to the CFL group’s financial performance.

Its impact on CFL’s bottom line is expected in the Group’s next half-year financial results.

“This year’s results highlight the continued strength, resilience, and growth of Fiji Showcase,” Mr Taylor said.

“We remain committed to making the event bigger and better each year—for our listeners, online followers. clients, and the people of Fiji.”

Launched in 1986 at the Suva Civic Centre as the “Home and Leisure Show,” Fiji Showcase has grown into one of the nation’s most prominent consumer events.

CFL also announced three days of festivities in Suva to mark 40 years of broadcasting in the Pacific and celebrations end today.
