SUVA Grammar School is one win away from the under-16 southern zones Weet-Bix Raluve title after defeating Lomaivuna High School 15-7 in the semi-final clash last week.

Grammar produced a disciplined performance to book their place in the final, where they will face tournaments favorited Nasinu Secondary School.

Nasinu heads into the decider defending their title, and also an impressive unbeaten run this season with their only setback being a single draw against Lomary Secondary School.

Suva Grammar controlled key periods of the semi-final against Lomaivuna capitalising on its scoring opportunities while defending strongly to its opponents to a single converted try.

The final presents the biggest challenge of the season as Grammar will look to end Nasinu’s unbeaten run and claim the U-16 Raluve title.

Nasinu will start as favourites after remaining undefeated throughout the campaign, but Grammar will take confidence from its semi-final performance as it prepares for the championship decider

The games will be held at the Suva Grammar School grounds this Saturday.

Finals for the Raluve; U16-Suva Grammar v Nasinu Secondary at 10.45am, U18 Mahatma Ghandi v Lomary Secondary at 2.35pm.
