BA Football Association successfully kicked off its 2025 local league competition at the AD Patel College grounds over the weekend, drawing strong support from fans and showcasing structured football from all participating teams.

Ba Football Regional Local League director Fazilat Khan praised the level of play on display.

“We witnessed a wonderful display of football by all teams. The teams looked sharp in terms of fitness, and there was huge support from fans cheering on their individual clubs,” Khan said.

While there was a slight delay with the initial kickoff, Khan confirmed the rest of the games were conducted with minimal interruptions.

She also acknowledged the efforts of Flying Arrows FC members for their support in preparing the ground.

“Special thanks and appreciation to members of Flying Arrows FC for helping get the ground ready for today’s games,” he said.

Khan also thanked Ba district coach Ronil Kumar and Under-19 youth coach Mr. Thakur for attending the matches and scouting for new talent.

“There are some finer details that we need to iron out before the next round, but I am confident that this year we will be better prepared for all matches,” she added.

Khan urged fans to continue showing up in numbers to support local football and boost the morale of the clubs.
