Fiji’s Seascape Symposium is officially underway at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
The three day event draws partners to highlight the conservation efforts implemented in four sites, namely the Great Sea Reef, Vatu-i-Ra Seascape, the Great Astrolabe Reef and the Lau Seascape, and how it is aligned to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 and its related targets.
President and Oceans Champion Ratu Wiliame Katonivere will open the inaugural symposium this morning.
