THE search for the sixth passenger missing after a boat capsized in Beqa waters last week remains ongoing.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed search efforts are continuing.
“The search and rescue operation is still ongoing and is being led by Police,” Ms Naisoro said.
Three people have been confirmed dead following the incident, while two survivors were rescued and later discharged from Navua Hospital after receiving medical treatment.
The six occupants were travelling from Beqa to Navua last Thursday en route to Suva when the vessel capsized.
Police are continuing their search for the remaining missing passenger.
