Sangam Fiji gets government grant to upgrade facility at nursing school

Sangam Fiji is going to build a state-of-the-art lecture theatre at the Sangam Nursing School in Labasa.

In the 2024-2025 national budget, one million was allocated to Sangam School of Nursing for capital projects.

The Fiji Higher Education Commission (HECF) signed a capital grant agreement yesterday to support the construction of the state-of-the-art lecture theatre.

HECF said this grant is part of TISI Sangam’s ongoing commitment to enhancing higher education in Fiji.

The new lecture theatre, designed to meet modern educational standards, is slated for completion by June 2025.

Mr. Steve Chand, Chair of the Higher Education Commission highlighted the organization’s responsibility to ensure the proper utilization of the funds to maximize the impact of the project.
