Sanatan world cup: Champs Navua makes winning start

DEFENDING champions Navua football has made a winning start to the Sanatan World Cup underway in Nadi.

In their first match today, Navua beat Rotorua 3-nil.

Vineet Chand, Sharhad Kumar and Praveen Prasad scored for Navua.

In their second match, Navua beat Drasa 2-nil.

New Zealand Ba also made a flying start to the tournament thumping Ulusila 3-nil.

Pool matches continue tomorrow with the finals to be played on Sunday at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.
