Swire Shipping Fijian Drua youngster Junior Ratuva is savoring the opportunity of playing at home this weekend in round three of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Ratuva, who joined the Drua this season, made his debut last week, coming off the bench as a replacement winger in the 36-39 loss to Moana Pasifika.

He made the match-day 23 again this week and provides valuable cover at the backline.

“I’ve got a big shoe to fill this weekend,” the Mataqe in Nadroga lad stated. Facing the mighty Crusaders is a story of its own but Ratuva is particularly looking forward to one aspect.

“I’m really looking forward to going up against two of the Fijian brothers, Manasa Mataele and Sevu Reece so, it’ll be a good challenge for me.

“To all the supporters out there, make sure to come in numbers this weekend to Lautoka and support the boys,” he added.

The Drua and Crusaders met twice last year with the Fijian franchise stealing the win on the same ground at Churchill Park in Lautoka in March.

The defending champions dished their revenge later in June during the quarterfinals at Christchurch in New Zealand.

Both teams are in search for their first win this season and that will be determined when the dust settles in Lautoka on Saturday.

The match will kick-off at 1.05pm.
