A MAN pleaded guilty yesterday to a count of robbery but denied one of theft.
Sakiusa Ralawa told the Suva Magistrates Court he understood the charges when they were read to him.
He pleaded not guilty to stealing a silver chain, however, he admitted robbing complainant Brian Singh of $500 cash and a recharge card valued at $15.
According to the summary of facts, the complainant went to a shop in Nabua to buy a recharge card.
The court heard that when the complainant came out of the shop, Ralawa punched him.
