With the new Damodar City Labasa, Vanua Levu residents have much to look forward to for novel shopping and dining experiences, including a new Grills Restaurant and Bar outlet to enjoy.
Locally renowned restaurant, Grills announced the opening of its newest outlet in Damodar City, Labasa with a signing with the Damodar Group this week.
“We are thrilled to bring the Grills experience to Labasa,” said Director Divesh Kumar.
“We look forward to becoming a part of the Labasa community and sharing our passion for food with our patrons.”
Founded by brothers, Vimal Kumar and Divesh Kumar; along with their father, Bhupendra Kumar, Grills Restaurant has already established outlets in Suva and Port Denarau, Nadi.
Originating from Portugal, Grills is known across Viti Levu for its versatile peri seasoning and marinades that tantalize taste buds and create a memorable dining experience.
Grills Fiji directors have also announced plans to retail their sauces to allow Fijians to experience the Grills taste at home.
The new Grills Junior outlet at the Damodar City Labasa food court has been made possible through an investment of $300,000.
“Today is another great milestone for the Damodar City brand, particularly Damodar City in Labasa and one of the most successful restaurant brands in Fiji, Grills Fiji,” said Damodar Group CEO Div Damodar.
“The restaurant brand will be expanding into Labasa, creating more opportunities for employment, investment opportunities, and more food options for Vanua Levu.”
Patrons can expect a special menu designed for the Labasa market that celebrates the established Grills flavours while offering a wide range of options to suit various preferences.
The new outlet will employ 12 staff members from the local community. According to Grills Directors this initiative aims to support the livelihoods of the Labasa residents while fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Grills Junior outlet at Damodar City Labasa will open to the public in December 2023 bringing special deals to the public on opening day.
