Update: 5:45PM OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort & Spa general manager Peter Hopgood said the opening of the $80,000 Conua Kindergarten this morning marked another milestone in the resort’s community development work.
Education Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy opened the kindy which is named after Adelaide Crows star footballer Eddie Batts.
The minister also opened the Conua District School library.
Books at the library were donated by returnee guest Jennifer McDaniel.
The library was named after her late husband, Jonathan McDaniel.
