Tambua Sands Beach Resort, a member of Warwick Hotels and Resorts, recently gifted two air conditioning units with full installation to the Vatukarasa Health Centre in Baravi, Nadroga.

The initiative is part of the resort’s continued commitment to supporting local communities.

Speaking during the handover, resort manager Angela Bob said the resort was honoured to assist the healthcare workers who continued to serve the communities with dedication.

“We are delighted to support the doctors and nurses at Vatukarasa Health Centre,” she said.

“They play a very important role in caring for our people, and their comfort and wellbeing are something we should all value. We hope these air conditioning units will help create a more comfortable environment for both staff and patients.”

Ms Bob said the Warwick Hotels and Resorts always believed in supporting communities and giving back wherever possible through meaningful initiatives that make a positive difference.

Senior Vice president and executive director – Pacific for Warwick Hotels and Resorts, Tammie Tam, said community support was part of who they were at Warwick Hotels and Resorts.

“We believe strong communities create a stronger future for everyone,” Ms Tam said.

“Supporting healthcare facilities, schools, and community projects is one way we can give back and show appreciation to the people and communities that continue to support us.”

She said Warwick Hotels and Resorts remained committed to corporate social responsibility and would continue to look for opportunities to assist communities throughout the region.

The initiative reflects Warwick Hotels and Resorts’ ongoing dedication to community wellbeing, partnership, and sustainable support for local organisations and essential services.
