Repair works to finish soon

THE reconstruction work at Queen Victoria School is expected to finish at the end of August provided the weather is favourable.

This was confirmed by Ozie Hansery Moechlis the managing director of Pt. Audie Building Industry, a leading steel company in Indonesia that is contracted to do the repair works at the Tailevu school.

Mr Moechlis said most of the materials was shipped from Indonesia. Last week nine containers arrived and this week another 10 containers is expected to arrive.

He said all the materials used were from Indonesia because they were not available here.

The company is only contracted to do the school chapel which has been completed, the main building (administration block, classrooms and laboratories) and the dormitories.
