Ravindra-Singh to appeal High Court decision

Former human rights lawyer Aman Ravindra-Singh says he will file an appeal against the July 24 High Court decision that ordered him to pay $60,000 each to Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

Justice Lyone Seneviratne made the ruling in relation to a defamation case filed by Mr Bainimarama and Mr Sayed-Khaiyum against Mr Ravindra-Singh over a Facebook post.

“I absolutely do not agree with the judgement,” Mr Ravindra-Singh said.
