Kaminieli Rasaku returns to sevens action and will feature for Fiji in the upcoming Oceania 7s tournament. Fiji Airways Fiji 7s coach Ben Gollings has named his 15-member squad which included the former Aviron Bayonnais player.
Rasaku’s contract with the club was terminated in October after he asked for an early release citing personal reasons.
Gollings has also named four new players in the squad including Waisea Lawebuka, Ilikimi Vunaki, Rubeni Kabu and Netava Koroisau.
Other players include Joseva Talacolo, Jeremaia Matana, Josese Batirerega, Ratu Josaia Vakurunabili, Manueli Maisamoa, Terio Veilawa, Pilipo Bukayaro, Waisea Nacuqu, Iowane Teba and Vuiviwa Naduvalo.
The Oceania 7s will be held from November 10 to 12 at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
