The Rarawai FSC Primary School Old Scholars Association has officially confirmed that the school’s 100 Years Celebration will be held as a two-day event on August 21 and 22 next year.
Association president Donish Lal said the milestone celebration would bring together former students, supporters, families and friends from Fiji and abroad to honour the school’s century-long legacy.
Lal said the Old Scholars Association, together with the school community, remained fully committed to delivering a meaningful and memorable celebration recognising the contribution of Rarawai FSC Primary School over the past 100 years.
He also announced that the official Centennial Launch will take place next Friday, May 29, at midday at FSC Primary School.
According to Lal, the launch event will be jointly organised by the Old Scholars Association and the Parent Teacher and Friends Association, reflecting what he described as strong unity and commitment among stakeholders towards the historic milestone.
Celebrations on launch day will continue with a Kava Barrel event from 6pm, with tickets priced at $10 each.
Old scholars, supporters and well-wishers have been invited to attend the event, which will also feature live entertainment from a surprise band confirmed by organisers.
Lal extended an invitation to all former students living both locally and overseas to reconnect and take part in the centennial celebrations.
He said the event would not only honour the school’s past achievements but also help build support for its future generations.
