SITTING and basking in the excitement of the competition and sipping from a can of beer, Labasa fan Rajendra Prasad Rado was one of the many spectators out to support the Babasiga Lions in day two of the 2025 BiC Fiji FACT yesterday.

Rado, who hails from Luvuluvu, Bua, Vanua Levu was in an excited and jovial mood when this newspaper caught up with him.

“I support Labasa,” he said bluntly.

“I got my colleagues here, friends from Labasa, all family. We are all Labasa, and when the Labasa team plays, we are all family and we support,” Rado said.

Rado observed matches from his view point at the concourse and also shared his thoughts on the progress of the Babasiga team.

“It was normal, we thought Labasa would do their best but despite that, we still support them and we hope they will do their best today (yesterday),” he said.

On the match-ups for this year’s Fiji FACT, he said it was a balanced one.

“I think all teams are evenly matched, may the best team win and be qualified.”

Meanwhile, Rado was one of more than thousands of fans that flocked to the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva for the second day of the Fiji FACT.
