Former prime minister and opposition leader Sitiveni Rabuka says his proposed new political party will split the votes in the 2022 General Election.

“It is a risk worth taking particularly if I feel that I can build up on the numbers and those that may come to my side,” he said.

Mr Rabuka also said the new party would definitely chew away FijiFirst’s total votes that were cast and counted in the 2018 General Election.
