QUEEN Victoria School won the boys division title after a 33-year lapse at the Coca-Cola Games Championship which ended at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday.
It was a close call in the end as the Tailevu school edged defending champion Marist Brothers High School by a single gold medal.
QVS ended the games with 10 gold, 11 silver and seven bronze medals while MBHS had nine gold, six silver and seven bronze medals.
In the girls division, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School scooped their third straight title.
They won 15 gold, eight silver and six bronze medals while second-placed Adi Cakobau High School had seven gold, three silver and seven bronze medals.
