Police have ruled out the criminal element of an alleged sexual harassment video involving a police officer and a woman at the Navua Police Station.
But Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has directed that the internal investigation against the officer continues, because he recognises the importance of ensuring officers be held accountable for any form of misconduct.
The woman, police added, has signed a statement refuting claims that she was a victim of sexual harassment.
A video clip of the two hugging at the police station was circulated on social media.
