Private Island owner sentenced for identity theft and immigration offences

A United States resident who owns 80 per cent of Wakaya Private Island, Fiji, was sentenced to 81 months imprisonment by the US District Court.

According to a Federal Bureau of Investigation statement in US media issued September 30, Seagram’s liquor heiress Clare Bronfman was sentenced by United States District Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis  for identity theft and immigration offences.
