One of their sons, Epeli Baleibau, 44, is headed for Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to represent Fiji in the Paralympic events, competing in Category T-47 in the Ambulant Man’s high jump.
Baleibau qualified on merit when he jumped past the 1.65m qualifying height and finished his jump at 1.74m at the Dubai 2016 IPC Athletics Asia-Oceania Championships in March.
